Better Diagnostic Quality
Maximum-definition 3D examinations with multiple FOVs and 2D examinations. The first supine CT with Cone Beam technology that has a wide native 21×19 cm FOV that allows for high definition volumetric images of bone tissue with 'native' isotopic voxel, non-overlapping sections and fewer artifacts. With Cone Beam technology, the 5G XL is a CT scanner which offers faster examinations and low doses of radiation with greater safety for the patient, better performance and an increasingly efficient workflow.
The high quality images generated by 5G XL are ideal for multiple medical fields, such as dental-maxillofacial diseases, otorhinolaryngology applications, complete analysis of upper airways and precise examinations of bones and joints, limbs and the cervical spine.
Optimal Lying Down Position
One of only two CBCT systems with the patient positioned lying down, a motorised patient table and an open gantry. Considerable reduction of movement-induced artifacts thanks to perfect patient stability at all times.

Minimum X-ray doses
EcoScan and SafeBeam™ technology safeguard patient health further by allowing diagnostic examinations to be performed with extremely low X-ray emissions. Native CBCT technology emits effective X-ray doses up to 10 times lower compared to a traditional CT, but with better diagnostic quality for bone tissues.
