Features
Advanced panoramic imaging

OP3DPro combines an advanced panoramic imaging system with either cephalometric or cone beam 3D or a combination of both, giving you a truly adaptable platform for different imaging applications and dental specialities.
Complete versatility
Standard scan with optimized patient dose can be used for general diagnostics, whilst the high resolution scan offers extremely sharp images for more detailed diagnosis. The Low dose scan can be utilized in dose sensitive cases and control or follow-up situations where lower resolution is acceptable. In addition to this there is an 85 µm voxel size with MAR tool specially designed for endodontic applications.
Upgradeablity
OP3DPro is designed and built as an expandable platform in which both 3D and cephalometric options are field upgradeable. OP3DPro can truly grow with your practice and be tailored to your preferences
Five fields-of-view
- FOV 5 x 5 cm Optimized for single site implants or localized diagnostics, keeping the patient dose at a substantially reduced level.
- FOV 6 x 8 cm Covers the complete dental arch for multiple implant placement and allows for the use of surgical guides.
- FOV 8 x 8 cm Covers the entire dentition, including both mandibula and maxilla as well a portion of maxillary sinus.
- FOV 8 x 15 cm Covers both mandibula and maxilla including airway and upper cervical spine or the sinus. Both TM joints can be also studied.
- FOV 13 x 15 cm Covers the entire maxillofacial region.
Multilayer pan
The OP3DPro multilayer panoramic option provides five panoramic images with only one scan. This enables forgiving patient positioning and reduces retake exposures. Multilayer images are achieved in the same scanning time and dose as the traditional panoramic scan.
Low Dose Technology TM LDT
Low Dose Technology™ function provides quality images optimized for a very low dose. This technology provides low dose scans for sensitive cases such as children, follow-up imaging or implant planning while maintaining clinical value. All FOV sizes have the possibility for low dose imaging.
Automatic dose control (ADC)
User-selectable ADC adaptively regulates panoramic exposure levels to each individual patient, during every acquisition to optimize the dosage patient specifically

Accurate and stable patient positioning
Correct positioning is assured by automatically operated three positioning laser lights. A rigid 5-point positioning system eliminates patient movement. The open product design allows easy viewing and positioning of the Patient.
As the original inventor of the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ products, we have always strived to give our customers the very best tools to succeed. The ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ heritage of patient care builds on sectional panoramics, Automatic Exposure Control (AEC), Automatic Spine Compensation (ASC), Automatic Facial Contour (AFC) and adjustable scanning area on cephalometric imaging. The OP300, continues the legacy while introducing new innovations to take patient care even further.
OP3DPro Panoramic utilizes Automatic
Dose Control (ADC) and ASC to obtain patient-specific correct imaging values, exposure after exposure and with any size of patient.
OP3DPro cephalometric users have the possibility to adjust the scanning area exposing only required area. In addition, dose is automatically decreased in the facial region with AFC.
OP3DPro CBCT users greatly benefit from versatile selection of different volumes and available resolutions, as well as precise and free volume positioning. Image quality and patient dose optimized – in all OP300 programs.
The 3D diagnostics master class
OnDemand3D™ is a powerful, high-performance viewing software for displaying, assessment, presentation and documentation of 3D volume data of a DVTs device. It has been developed on a modular basis so it’s flexible and easily expandable. The modules individual function groups to make a logical connection.
The right programme for the right purpose
OnDemand3D™ is a modular design software package combining functionalities for different requirements in different modules.
Besides two basic packages with pre-selection and modules, there are also supplementary modules and programmes available for special applications.
Database manager (DBM)
The database manager provides three different accesses to the database. Data can be called up and saved via all three accesses at any time. Furthermore, the data can be copied from one system to another system.
Master DB – Single user database in one directory
The Master DB is locally installed as a standard procedure during installation. In the Master DM, data can be imported or copied from other database systems.
OnDemand3D™Server – Professional network database, even via the Internet
OnDemand3D™Server is an independent programme providing a high-performance SQL database. Each OnDemand3D™ work station can set up a connection to an OnDemand3D™Server. Individual user rights can also be assigned.OnDemand3D™Server is even suitable for connecting remote surgeries via the Internet. All data transmissions are secured and encrypted.
PACS image archive by means of DICOM – The international radiological standard
Many clinics employ a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to save radiological image data. A connection is made with a PACS system via the DICOM protocol (Digital Imaging and Communicationsin Medicine). This communication standard enables different imaging and image processing systems to mutually exchange data.
